Bitcoin mining with GTX 570

Pro tip: don't try to be funny and spout inane tired old internet memes when you're wrong.

Radeon 6970 and GTX570 perform about the same on factory settings, on some games R6970 is 10% faster, on other games GTX570 is 20% faster. Bottom line comes to about 5% on GTX570's side across all of the games used widely for benchmarking, but the real bottom line which card is better depends on what games you play. Going by averages alone what I said is 100% correct: GTX570 costs more, and is also bit faster.

So hold on, you're saying the card is faster because some titles that are in the TWIMTBP programme eke out the average a bit higher, whilst the majority of games which are not in that programme (and shrinking on a daily basis) the 6970 wins nearly all of them by 5 to 15%?
Sorry my friend but that's not how things work.

The HD6970 is a faster card no matter how much you twist and turn, taking averages and saying it's faster because some suite has tested more with TWIMTBP games is quite... well i'll let you guess what it is.

You should really watch your arrogance when it's highly misplaced.

Pro tip2: don't try sarcasm either when you're wrong.

GTX580 is best single gpu by notable margin, there's no question about that, so my statement was 100% correct. Also on dual GPU cards GTX590 is slightly better than R6990, again it varies from game to game but Nvidia card wins by small margin in overall results.Really?
Seeing as how most review sites (Guru3D, Techspot etc) give the HD6990 equal performance or having the slight edge (not much, but it's there) in performance, especially when it comes to high res multi-monitoring, also when it comes to OCing, i find this statement to be a bit off.
